METHOD FOR PROSTHETICS OF A TRICUSPIDAL VALVE IN PATIENTS WITH INFECTIOUS ENDOCARDITIMS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B17/00

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiosurgery. They perform imposition of individual U-shaped seams on gaskets along the line of fibrous ring in projection of anterior and posterior valves, fixing prosthesis braid, pressing heart tissue against the prosthetic framework. In this case, seams begin to be stitched from anterior septal commissure clockwise from anterior valve to anterior-posterior commissure. Further on posterior leaf and, without reaching posterior septal commissure, continue suturing right atrium wall from the outer side of the coronary sinus outer side, moving it into right ventricle cavity. Then, filaments of the suture drawn just behind coronary sinus and first U-shaped suture are simultaneously stretched to form muscular bead. Subsequent U-shaped sutures are applied with capture of formed muscle roller to form a closed line, while U-shaped seams are made in steps of 5–7 mm and 1–1.2 mm. intervals between seams.

EFFECT: method allows higher treatment efficiency, reduction of number of patients who need implantation of pacemaker, disability reduction of this category of patients.
