SUBSTANCE: system for monitoring a bucket tooth of a heavy machine comprising: a tooth of the heavy machine; a mounting bracket connecting the tooth of the heavy machine bucket to the bucket of the heavy machine, the mounting bracket is disconnected from the bucket of the heavy machine and having a first end, and a second end connected to the bucket of the heavy machine; a radio frequency identification tag (RFID) connected to the bucket tooth of the heavy machine for moving with the bucket tooth of the heavy machine when the tooth is separated from the bucket. A portion of radio frequency identification tag is close to the mounting bracket, when the bucket tooth of the heavy machine is connected to the first end of the mounting bracket; and a radio frequency identification tag reader configured to receive at least one signal from the radio frequency identification tag and detect the release of the bucket tooth of the heavy machine from the bucket based on the at least one signal received from the radio frequency identification tag.
EFFECT: prevention of crusher damage in future.
