SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detection and positioning of a working machine tooth. In particular, method is proposed for monitoring heavy machine's bucket tooth, comprising steps of combining radio frequency identification tag (RFID) with tooth of a heavy machine bucket, moreover, a radio frequency identification tag (RFID) is attached to the tooth of a heavy machine bucket so that it can be moved with the tooth; RFID tag reader is located to read the RFID tag; using the controller, information is received from radio frequency identification tag reader based on data from radio frequency identification tag (RFID); using the controller, diagnostic information for the bucket tooth of the heavy machine is determined based on information from RFID tag reader and sent to the user with indication when the tooth of the heavy machine bucket is disconnected from heavy machine.

EFFECT: proposed method serves to timely detect loss of the tooth of the bucket in order to prevent damage of crushers in the future.
