SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an element of the working body of an excavator. In particular, a marked element for excavation works is proposed, comprising a body of an element for excavation works and a marking device designed to be attached to the body of an element for excavation works. In this case, the marking device contains a radioactive source selected from a group that includes scandium (Sc), tantalum (Ta), terbium (Tb) and antimony (Sb). Also proposed is a method for manufacturing a marked element for excavation works and a method for detecting a marked element for excavation works.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing tracking of the movement of a marked element, in particular, such as the tooth of an excavator bucket, with possibility of preventing accidents, such as blocking or damage to crushing equipment.
