FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: method is implemented on the basis of a passive two-position measuring system. At two receiving positions of the complex, the radiation power of the radio-frequency sources (RFS) is measured and on one of them - the angular coordinates of the RFS for one moment of time. Further joint processing of angular and energy measurements is carried out and spatial coordinates of the RFS location are obtained taking into account the influence of the underlying surface on the results of energy measurements. If the RFS is at a great range, the curvature of the Earth is also taken into account.
EFFECT: determination of the spatial coordinates of the location of the sources of radio emission observed at low elevation angles with high accuracy.
