ADAPTIVE METHOD FOR PASSIVE RADAR LOCATION Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01S3/46

FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a passive radar and can be used in two- and multi-position measurement systems for determining coordinates of radio-frequency sources (RFS). Method consists in measurement with receiving positions TPMC angular coordinates and RFS radiation power, determining time delay of wave front arrival RFS radiation on position of system. Then is parallel to triangulation, Goniometric-differential-range and Goniometric-power methods are applied for determining coordinates of RFS. For each of methods value of dispersion range to RFS is determined, then these values are compared to select values of coordinates of RFS, which correspond to minimum value of dispersion. At equal values of dispersion rule for finding the mean arithmetic for values of similar coordinates obtained by two or three methods is used.

EFFECT: technical result is high accuracy of RFS locating and expansion of working zone of measuring system when using adaptive method of passive radar based on two-position measuring complex (TPMC).
