SUBSTANCE: usage: for the production of photoluminescent nanoparticles, or quantum dots (QD), of ultra-small size. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that in the method of colloidal synthesis of photoluminescent nanoparticles of an ultra-small size of the core / shell structure, including the synthesis of cores of photoluminescent nanoparticles by injecting the core components into an environment of organic solvents, purification of the cores from the reaction mixture and subsequent buildup of the epitaxial shell of photoluminescent nanoparticles in the environment of organic solvents, ultrafast, not more than for 5 seconds, stopping of the reaction of synthesis of nanoparticle cores in the early stages of growth is conducted, and before building up the epitaxial shell of nanoparticles, the nanoparticle cores are purified by exclusion chromatography.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed invention consists in the production of quantum dots of an ultra-small size, up to 2 nm in diameter, with reproducible high-homogeneous optical properties and physical dimensions.
