SUBSTANCE: connection device for connecting the first cable drive to the second cable drive comprises a connection box with an opening cover on the bogie side. The first cable of the first cable drive is fixedly connected inside the connection box with the first connecting element. The second cable of the second cable drive is fixedly connected inside the connection box with the second connecting element. The first connecting element and the second connecting element are detachably connected by means of a closing device with a form closure. The cover in the closed position covers, with a form closure, a fitting connected to the shell of the first cable drive. A unit of railway rolling stock comprises a connecting device.
EFFECT: simplifying the implementation of disconnecting and reconnecting the brake drive cable, increasing the protection of the connection point against the environment impact.
