SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions includes powder containers used in the imaging apparatus and an image forming apparatus. The powder container used in the image forming apparatus comprises: a rotating container for the powder in which the powder for forming the image is stored, the rotating powder container rotating around an axis of rotation, an opening at one end of the powder container through which the nozzle of the forming device is inserted an image, and a scoop portion for scooping the powder on the side of the hole, and feeding the powder into the nozzle-receiving hole of the nozzle when the powder container rotates. The scooping portion includes a scoop surface that extends inwardly from the surface of the inner wall of the powder container. The scoop surface is inclined at an inclination angle in a predetermined range and the inclination angle of the scoop surface is in the range of ±255 degrees, the inner end portion of the scoop surface extends in the direction of the rotational axis of the powder container, the edge portion of the inner end approximately parallel to the rotation axis and in the cross section perpendicular to the rotation axis , the scoop surface is inclined toward the front side in the rotational direction of the powder container relative to the virtual line that goes through the rotation axis and is tangent to the inner end edge portion.
