FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical chemistry and can be used for the concentration and separation of flavonoids (FL), such as quercetin, (+)-catechin, naringin, for subsequent determination in plant samples, pharmaceutical preparations. Method for concentrating and separating flavonoids, comprising sorption chromatographic extraction of flavonoids by passing a solution of quercetin, (+)-catechin or naringin through the mesoporous sorbent of type MCM-41 obtained from the reaction mixture of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTABr), a source of silicon and distilled water and subjected to hydrothermal treatment, filtering of the resulting mixture, extraction of the template, drying and calcining using acetonitrile solutions of flavonoids, tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) being used as a source of silicon, the reaction mixture additionally contains ammonia and ethyl alcohol, treatment of sorbent is carried out under certain conditions, obtained sorbent is pre-fractionated to a particle size of 0.1–0.25 mm and further modified with trimethylchlorosilane, trichloromethane is used as the solvent for the modification.
EFFECT: above-described method increases the degree of extraction and separation of flavonoids-quercetin, naringin, catechin.
