SUBSTANCE: in the claimed method, it is ensured that the electrical processes occurring in the external load are coordinated with the mechanical and thermal processes of the installation due to the accumulation or expenditure of the charge in the battery. In the claimed method, the use of a battery and the redistribution of electric power between the turbine, the generator and the battery are provided for changes in the external electric load. By the magnitude of charging or discharging current of the battery or by its voltage, a signal is generated to change the set value of the feed water flow rate and the given reactor power.

EFFECT: optimisation of the operating conditions for a nuclear power plant, increasing its reliability and the resource while maintaining maneuverability on part of the electricity consumers.
