FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the synthesis of metal nicotinates which can be used as biologically active additives in agriculture. Electrolysis of a saturated solution of nicotinic acid with copper electrodes is performed at with direct current, the resulting precipitate is separated, washed and dried. Solvent used is a DMF: acetonitrile system (90:10 volume ratio), the background electrolyte is potassium chloride. Mass ratio of DMF : acetonitrile : nicotinic acid : electrolyte is 85.00:7.88:2.00:0.03, the electric current density is 5–8 mA/cm2.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the method for obtaining a complex copper compound with nicotinic acid and at the same time reduces time costs.
