FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for obtaining complex copper (II) picolinate. Method comprises metal interacting with a ligand in the presence of organic solvent, followed by precipitate separation. As a solvent, a dimethylformamide system is used: water with a volume ratio of 90:10. Reaction is carried out by electrolysis of picolinic acid solution with copper electrodes and potassium chloride as a background electrolyte. Weight ratio of dimethylformamide : water : picolinic acid : electrolyte is 85.00:10.00:2.50:0.05, the density of the direct current is 5–8 mA/cm2.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain copper picolinate (II) with less time.
