FIELD: seismology; measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismology and can be applied to detect earthquake precursors. Gist: body moisture meter comprises bridge circuit (1) at a constant current from source (2), operating in out-of-balance condition. One of the arms of bridge circuit (1) includes the resistance, which is the potentiometer of atmospheric pressure sensor (3), and sensor resistance (4) of hydrogen concentration in the atmosphere is included to the other arm of bridge circuit (1). Measuring diagonal of the bridge is connected to series-connected operational amplifier (5), threshold element (6), analog-to-digital converter (7), buffer memory device (8), laptop (9) connected to programmable measurement sample circuit (10). Programmable measurement sample circuit (10) is designed to synchronize the operation of threshold element (6), analog-to-digital converter (7) and buffer memory device (8). Threshold element (6) is controlled by the voltage from sensor (11) of the atmosphere electrostatic field.

EFFECT: higher reliability of the detection of earthquake precursors and the accuracy of the magnitude forecast.
