FIELD: geophysics, possible use in national surveillance systems.
SUBSTANCE: device for correlating earthquake precursor signals has two measuring channels, one of which is utilized for measuring electrostatic potential in atmosphere on basis of probe-charge indicator, and another one - for measuring concentration of hydrogen in atmosphere above source, made at length of porous fiber, powered by optical generator. Signals at output are proportional to amplitude of observed parameters. After digitizing of signals by analog-digital converter, in accordance to special program for personal computer mutual correlative characteristic function of signals is calculated, rounding curve of amplitude is calculated for current function in time, which is utilized to predict characteristics of expected strike.
EFFECT: improved trustworthiness and expanded time range of proactive predicting of earthquake parameters.
