FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrocarbons transport in oil and gas industry and can be used in pipeline operation, which are located in places with possible landslide developments. Claimed device consists of a upright post installed on an underground pipeline, which is additionally equipped with a measuring scale for vertical pipeline movement, and to control the horizontal displacement, a lever mechanism is used, pin-joined connected to the underground pipeline and with a vertical pile installed in the ground, unexposed to landslide developments, lever mechanism converts the horizontal displacement of the underground pipeline into a vertical displacement of the rod with a measuring scale of horizontal displacement. To read the readings about horizontal and vertical displacements of the underground pipeline from the measuring scales, a sighting device is used, which has the ability to rotate in the horizontal plane by an angle that allows reading the values of the underground pipeline displacements from the measuring scales.
EFFECT: creating a simple mechanical device that monitors the absolute values of the horizontal and vertical pipeline displacement.
