FIELD: pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to monitoring state of main pipelines and can be used to track changes in their geometry, as well as levels of stress-strain state. Task of the present invention is obtaining information (besides information on the value of the stress strain behaviour of the pipeline, on the vector of mechanical deformation of the pipeline) on changing the geometry and position of the pipeline in space. Target is achieved due to installation of accelerometer units on the pipeline, in the specified sections, next to the stress strain behaviour sensors and strain gauges; installation at boundaries of monitoring section, on soils not subject to landslide phenomena (in bedrock), two sliding supports, on each of which there is a block of accelerometers with zero readings; software, which processes in real time information from accelerometer units, which converts it into 3D visualization of pipeline geometry and its position in space, and information from sensors of the stress strain behaviour and strain sensors into information on the levels of the stress strain behaviour, and on the direction of the bending vector.
EFFECT: information obtained by means of this complex makes it possible to give precise recommendations for taking protective measures for preservation of pipeline integrity and minimization of stress strain behaviour effect.
