FIELD: automatic control.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of automatic control, in particular, to the methods of controlling a two-wheeled balanced vehicle. To control a two-wheeled balanced vehicle, the types of obstacles in front of any of the wheels are identified. If the obstacle is an insurmountable obstacle, braking for the two-wheeled balanced vehicle and protection for the steering control component is applied. Control device of the two-wheeled balanced vehicle has two parallel wheels and a steering control component, and contains a detection and control modules. Two-wheeled balanced vehicle contains a control chip, memory for storing instructions, steering control component.
EFFECT: higher safety in the use of the two-wheeled balanced vehicle is achieved.
