FIELD: pulp industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of plant raw materials, in particular to devices for separation and fibrillation of wood-fiber semi-finished product, which had passed grinding stage in knife grinding machines, and can be used both in pulp and paper industry and in plate industry. Device includes base with holes staggered, with alternating teeth, one tooth 2.0–3.0 mm high and apex angle of 20–22° and two identical teeth with height of 1.0–1.5 mm and angle at top of 36–38°, while distance between axes of holes is 12–15 mm, and between axes and edge of base is 15–17 mm.

EFFECT: design of separator makes it possible to obtain fibreboard semi-finished product not only of uniform granulometric composition, but also with specific fiber surface increased by additional fibrillation.
