SUBSTANCE: invention relates to smoking article with marking having pattern portion and adjacent portion, wherein the patterned portion comprises a printed pattern and an embossed pattern, aligned with the printed pattern, the printed pattern comprises a first color and an adjacent second color, wherein the first color of the printed pattern is provided on a side of an embossed feature, visible from a first angle and the second color of the printed pattern is provided on a second side of the embossed feature, visible from a second angle, wherein the first color and the adjacent second color are of sufficiently small widths when viewed from a third angle, that the first color and the second color blend when viewed from the third angle, wherein the adjacent portion of the marking is provided with one of the first, second or third colors.
EFFECT: technical effect is to provide protection against falsification.
