SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol generating product, a method for the formation of a hollow tubular segment for a mouthpiece of an aerosol generating product, and a mouthpiece for an aerosol generating product. The aerosol generating product contains aerosol generating substrate and a mouthpiece located downstream relatively to aerosol generating substrate. The mouthpiece contains a hollow tubular segment at its downstream end, forming a cavity at the mouthpiece end. The hollow tubular segment contains a hollow tube of fibrous material and polymer film attached to the inner surface of the hollow tube. Fibrous material of the hollow tube contains fibers formed of polymer, and polymer film contains at least 20 percent of polymer.
EFFECT: obtaining an aerosol generating product.
