FIELD: toxicology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to toxicology. What is described is a method for quantitative determination of furan and methylfuran in blood by gas chromatographic analysis with mass-selective detection. According to the method, the concentration of furan and methylfuran is determined using a calibration curve which characterizes the dependence of the peak area on the content of the analysed component on the chromatogram.
EFFECT: development of reliable and selective method for quantitative determination of furan and methylfuran in blood by gas chromatographic analysis with mass-selective detection.
