SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biology, ecology, toxicology and sanitary chemistry, specifically to methods for determining 2-dimethylamino-1,3-bis-(phenylsulfonylthio)propane in a biological material. Method for determining 2-dimethylamino-1,3-bis-(phenylsulfonylthio)propane in a biological material comprises grinding biological material, twice for 45 minutes each treating said material with portions of an organic insulating agent, which is a mixture of toluene-ethyl acetate in a ratio of 7:3 by volume, provided that the weight of each portion of insulating agent is 2 times the weight of the biological object, the obtained organic extracts are combined, dried with anhydrous sodium sulfate, the solvent from the combined extraction is evaporated, the residue is dissolved in acetone, chromatographed on a column of silica gel L 40/100 μ, first passing hexane through it, and then eluting with a mixture of ethyl acetate-hexane solvents in ration of 6:4 by volume, eluate fractions containing the analyte are combined, the eluent is evaporated, the residue is dissolved in a mixture of acetonitrile-water solvents in a ratio of 6:4 by volume and determination by HPLC is carried out.

EFFECT: method is proposed for the determination of 2-dimethylamino-1,3-bis-(phenylsulfonylthio)propane in a biological material.
