FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: structure of ophthalmic lens comprises a lens containing a biocompatible material allowing it to be positioned on the eye, a rigid insert encapsulated in a contact lens, and element capable of correcting astigmatism located either on the lens itself, or on a rigid insert, or on a lens and rigid insert. In the first embodiment, the rigid insert comprises a first zone comprising a first material, and a second zone comprising a second material, the first and second zones being capable of masking the astigmatic parameters of the eye. In the second variant, the rigid insert has a three-dimensional topography that mirrors the astigmatic parameters of the eye.
EFFECT: ability to correct astigmatism.
