SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipes production, namely, to pipe blanks manufacturing for the cold-deformed pipes of titanium alloys production for the products of ship machine building and power plants. Method includes forging ingots from titanium alloys PT-1M and PT-7M. Improving the structure elaboration, reducing the gas-saturated layer thickness to a minimum is ensured by the fact that blind hole is grooved directly on the whole mechanically processed forged workpiece from the end face, to be filled with a glass-lubricant of a certain composition to facilitate the workpiece piercing process at a temperature of T_pp – 20÷30 °C.

EFFECT: proposed is a method of pipe blanks manufacturing for the cold-deformed pipes of titanium alloys production for the products of ship machine building and power plants.
