SUBSTANCE: invention relates to network communication technologies. Two-crystal acousto-optical frequency shifter of optical radiation with a two-fold frequency shift and stability of the angular position of the output beam, characterized in that stability of the angular position of the output light beam is ensured by the successive diffraction of the light beam in two symmetrically located acousto-optical cells with the same geometry of acousto-optical interaction, in this case, between the cells, a device for suppressing a part of the light beam that does not have a diffracted in the first cell with a polarization of an analogous polarization of the input beam is established.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the reliability of equipment operation.
