FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon feedstock using a solid catalyst fluidized with a fluid. Solid catalyst particles fluidized by a fluid between the reaction vessel and the regeneration vessel of the catalytic cracking of a fluid hydrocarbon medium are circulated, hydrocarbons are removed from the catalyst using steam which is injected into the catalyst particles by a first gas distribution device, the carbonaceous deposit is removed from the catalyst particles and the catalyst is regenerated using air which is injected into the catalyst particles in the regeneration vessel by means of a second gas distributing device. At least one of the first gas distribution device and the second gas distribution device comprises a distribution manifold, in fluid communication with the gas source, and a plurality of injection nozzles.
EFFECT: providing cracking of heavy gas oil streams to produce more valuable light boiling fractions, such as gasoline and light hydrocarbons.
