Additional ultrasound image is obtained and a control image is subtracted from it, after which a differential image is obtained and added to the reference image, the echogenicity of the inhomogeneities in the tissues is increased by further heating the boundaries of the inhomogeneities in the tissues to enhance the brightness of the differential image at a ratio of the acoustic impedances of the inhomogeneity and surrounding tissue is greater than 1 and the echogenicity of the surrounding tissue heterogeneity increases with the ratio of the acoustic impedances of the inhomogeneity and the surrounding tissue is less than 1.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase the contrast of the images.
