FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the measuring technique and can be used in order to recognize flow modes of gas-liquid flow in horizontal pipelines in the oil, chemical, food and other industries. Method is proposed for recognizing the flow modes of the gas-liquid flow in the horizontal pipeline, where by means of the installed probe with the strain-gauge differential pressure sensor and the distributed piezoresistive sensor pressure measurement the pressure is carried out at the same time, pressure pulsations and local electrical conductivity of the gas-liquid mixture over the entire vertical section of the pipeline, according to the change in the level of pulsation of the pressure drop the size of the bubbles is determined, according to the change in electrical conductivity the structure of the flow is determined, and according to the indications of both types of sensors, taking into account the results of the presetting of the probe block in the visually monitored flow and the data stored in the computer's memory, the flow mode of the gas-liquid flow is determined. Invention also proposes the device for implementing the method.
EFFECT: technical result is the increase in the accuracy and resolution of measurements, and the expansion of the functionality of the device.
