FIELD: electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sensor equipment and can be used in touch screens, touch panels and other devices, where it is necessary to indicate coordinates of selected points on screen and track said coordinates or selected graphic elements. On resistance-capacitance circuit, capacitive element which is located in sensor matrix of panel or screen, perturbation voltage is applied, which varies as a function of time, having at least one pair of identical sections, each comprising two linear measuring sections with zero slope and two perturbation sections, simultaneously forming a corresponding pair of reference voltage varying as a function of time, having linear support sections with zero slope, each of which is determined during corresponding linear measuring section of pair. Voltage on element of resistance-capacitance circuit within time intervals of first and second linear measuring sections of pair is compared with reference voltage. Between moments of equality of voltages, a time interval is formed, then said voltages are compared within time intervals of third and fourth linear measuring sections of pair. Second time interval, defined between moments of equality of compared voltages, is formed, for formed time intervals or their equivalents, a difference is found, which is used to determine said coordinates.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of power consumption of devices, having capacitive touch panel or screen.
