SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of current source implemented in combination with the disposal of primary current sources that have reached the end of their service life and can be used for the manufacture of lithium batteries. Method for manufacturing lithium batteries of an electrochemical system lithium-lithiated vanadium oxide comprises producing of a cathode of a lithiated vanadium oxide, which uses the electrode mass of the spent primary current source of the lithium oxide of the vanadium system. Safe depressurization of the above-mentioned current source is carried out by discharge to a voltage of less than 2 V, cooling to a temperature of less than 0 °C and degassing. After this, the electrode mass is calcined for at least 1.5 hours. Further, it is leached with water at a ratio of solid and liquid components of 1:3. After that, drying of the precipitate formed during leaching is carried out in.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to accelerate the process of obtaining lithium batteries of the electrochemical system of lithium-lithiated vanadium oxide.
