FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement techniques, can be used in geodetic instrumentation and is intended to measure along with angular coordinates distance between theodolite and object of observation. Essence of the invention is characterized by the fact that, in the electronic theodolite, known from the state of the art, with a block of remote operational processing of the measuring information, new structural elements have been introduced: additional monitoring channel, including lens and digital photodetector device, and range calculation unit providing real-time range measurement.
EFFECT: technical result of invention consists in providing operative estimation of miss parameters when firing artillery shells or missiles at air targets (targets) from distance measurements and linear displacement of the target image on a matrix of photosensitive detectors.
