FIELD: acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of silencing aerodynamic noise of pneumatic equipment and compressed gas or air release systems. Noise silencer comprises an inlet branch pipe and a housing rigidly coupled thereto and made of a porous material, composite and made in the form of cylindrical and spherical shells, wherein one end of cylindrical shell is rigidly connected with end of inlet pipe, and the other one is rigidly connected to the spherical shell or made integral with it. Shells are made in the form of symmetrically arranged perforated walls, between which the sound-absorbing element is located, made in the form of three layers: a central layer of sound-reflecting material, of complex profile, composed of evenly distributed hollow tetrahedrons, allowing to reflect sound waves incident in all directions, and sound-absorbing layers of materials with different density symmetrically adjacent thereto, either sheet noise-absorbing material, based on a magnesia binder with reinforcing fiberglass or glass-fibre mat, or polyester, or a porous sound-absorbing ceramic material, are used as sound-absorbing material, wherein the porous sound-absorbing ceramic material has a bulk density of 500÷4000 kg/m3 and consists of 100 wt. parts of perlite with a grain diameter of 0.1÷8.0 mm, 80÷250 wt. parts of one of the sintering materials, selected from the group consisting of fly ash, slag, quartz, lava, stones or clay as the main material, 5÷30 wt. parts of inorganic binder, after sintering the mixture of pearlite particles communicating holes are formed between contact surfaces so that inner pores are interconnected.

EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of noise suppression.
