SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means silencing aerodynamic noise of pneumatic equipment and systems for releasing compressed gas or air. Noise silencer comprises an inlet branch pipe and a housing rigidly coupled thereto, comprising noise-absorbing elements, the housing comprises a branch pipe, made in the form of one side cover of the housing, having a conical and cylindrical parts, wherein an insert is installed perpendicular to the axis of the cylindrical part, insert comprises two perforated discs, between which a noise-absorbing element is placed, pressurized by threaded surfaces with another housing cover, in which the outlet openings are formed. Noise-absorbing element is two-layered, wherein the layer adjacent to one of the walls, is sound-absorbing, and the layer adjacent to another perforated wall, is made from complex shaped sound-reflecting material, composed of evenly distributed hollow tetrahedrons, allowing to reflect sound waves incident in all directions, or the noise-absorbing element is made in the form of symmetrically arranged perforated walls, between which the sound-absorbing element is arranged, made in the form of three layers: central layer from complex shaped sound-reflecting material, composed of evenly distributed hollow tetrahedrons, allowing to reflect sound waves incident in all directions, and sound-absorbing layers of materials with different density symmetrically adjacent thereto, either sheet noise-absorbing material, based on a magnesia binder with reinforcing fiberglass or glass-fibre mat, or polyester, or a porous sound-absorbing ceramic material are used as sound-absorbing material.

EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of noise suppression.
