FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgical otorhinolaryngology, and can be used in the treatment of patients with hypertrophic and vasomotor rhinitis. Performing the inferior nasal concha submucosal tunneling along the bony frame lower edge. Conducting submucosal resection by reciprocating movements. As a tool for soft tissues tunneling and resection, a cannula with an electric suction for liposuction is used with a diameter of 3 mm with 1-2 side openings at the working end. When tunneling, the cannula working end side openings are directed toward the nasal concha bony spur. Resection is performed with aspiration at a vacuum level of 150–200 mm Hg.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of bleeding and traumatism of the inferior nasal concha submucosal turbinotomy, increase the treatment effectiveness by minimizing invasive intervention and preserving the mucosa with a persistent decrease in the volume of the inferior nasal concha.
