FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the power engineering industry, in particular to devices indicating the path of the short-circuit current on a branched network connection for the purpose of subsequently detecting the damaged section. Self-resetting short-circuit current indicator contains a magnetic circuit running around the bus with vertical poles, a rotary armature with an axis of rotation, an indicator element, an assembly unit. Armature consists of four sectors, each of which is designed to perform an individual task. In this case, three sectors are located above the axis of rotation of the armature, and the fourth is below this axis. Assembly unit is made in the form of a liner, which is made of an insulating non-magnetic material and placed in the cavity of the magnetic circuit, playing the role of a spacer between the bus and the poles. Role of the indicator element, which fixes the passage of excess current on the bus, which caused the mains to be de-energized, is performed by the rotary armature itself, remaining in an attracted position after the end of the emergency event.
EFFECT: simplification of the design, increase in reliability, ensuring high performance indicators and functional capabilities of the indicator during transitions from normal to emergency mode and vice versa.
