FIELD: test technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of testing of materials, in particular to the abrasive wear resistance tests during the products movement in the abrasive mass with non-rigidly fixed abrasive particles. Device includes capacity with abrasive medium, which is fixed on machine bed with possibility of being moved in longitudinal and transverse directions. Group of cylindrical specimens of different composition, structure and properties is mounted on the horizontal rotating mandrel with the certain distance between them using intermediate bushings. Samples have the form of hollow cylinders and are made with such dimensions that the depth of their immersion into the abrasive mass and the contact area ensured the passage of all characteristic for abrasive wear processes. Bushings are made of more plastic material than test samples, excluding the possibility of their deformation, destruction and turning at the time of testing. Bushings outer diameter is less than the same sample size in 1.4…1.6 times, and the width is not less than the width of the samples.

EFFECT: wide versatility of the device, simple design, ease of testing, ensuring high reliability of the results.
