METHOD OF RADIO FREQUENCY SIGNAL POWER INCREASING Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H01Q21/00 H03G3/22

Abstract RU 2650049 C1

FIELD: radio electronics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio electronics and can be used to amplify the radio frequency signal power in an active phased array antenna receiving-transmitting SHF module, in particular of a radar station operating in a pulsed mode. To amplify the radio frequency signal power, the radio frequency signal is supplied to the input of the transmitting path, including at least preliminary and output power amplifiers containing transistors that operate in the deep saturation mode. Preliminarily forming the calibration table reflecting the relationship between the power at the transceiver channel output and the each of said power amplifiers corresponding supply voltage. Output power amplifier power supply voltage is selected from the condition of a given power obtaining at the transceiver channel output, and the preliminary power amplifier supply voltage is selected from the condition of obtaining the output power amplifier efficiency maximum value. Then, at the transceiver channel output, a radio frequency signal of preset power is obtained by supplying a corresponding supply voltage to each of said power amplifiers selected in accordance with said calibration table.

EFFECT: technical result is in reduction of energy consumption and heat losses.
