RECEIVING AND TRANSMITTING MODULE OF THE ACTIVE PHASED ANTENNA ARRAY OF THE MICROWAVE RANGE Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC H01Q21/00

Abstract RU 2788821 C1

FIELD: radio electronics.

SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to radio-electronic devices, namely to the design of receiving and transmitting modules of active phased antenna arrays of the microwave range. The receiving and transmitting module of the active phased antenna array of the microwave range contains at least one “receive/transmit” switch for 2 positions, the “input-output” contact of which is the input-output of the module, the “output” contact in the “transmit” switch position is connected to the input of the transmitting channel, which includes a series-connected matching amplifier, at least one additional n-bit step phase shifter, a matching amplifier, at least one n-bit step phase shifter, a power pre-amplifier, a power output amplifier, a directional power coupler with a channel power control system, the output of the transmitting channel, which is the output of the module, and both phase shifters are connected to the same control circuit. At least one “input” contact in the “receive” switch position is connected to the output of the first receiving channel containing matching amplifiers, an n-bit step attenuator, an additional n-bit step attenuator, an n-bit step phase shifter, an additional n-bit step phase shifter, the first output of the microwave power divider, the input the divider is connected in series with a low-noise amplifier, a protective device, a directional power coupler, the input of the receiving channel, which is the input of the module, moreover, both phase shifters are connected to the same control circuit and both attenuators are connected to the same control circuit. A second receiving channel is connected to the second output of the divider, containing an additional n-bit and n-bit step phase shifters connected in series, having one control circuit, matching amplifier, additional n-bit and n-bit step attenuators having one control circuit, matching amplifier, output of the second receiving channel, which is the output of the module. A switch is connected to the second “input” contact of the switch. Two n-bit step-controlled attenuators connected to a single control circuit are connected to the directional power coupler of the transmitting channel, and the power monitoring system is connected to the first attenuator and contains a detector diode, a DC amplifier, a comparator connected in series, the output of which is the output of a serviceability control signal, a valve is connected between the input of the receiving channels and the directional coupler, a matched load and a power control system are connected to the directional coupler, containing a detector diode, a DC amplifier, a comparator connected in series, the output of which is connected to a logic element, and the output of the logic element is connected to the input of the modulator and the output of the control signal, the power supply circuit of the comparator and the logic element 2AND-NOT connected through the modulator to the power supply circuit of the matching amplifiers of the receiving channels and a low-noise amplifier.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining the threshold output power of the transmitting channel of the transceiver module in at least 2 modes, as a consequence, expanding the ability to monitor the operability of the transceiver module, increasing the reliability of the transmission channel power monitoring system and increasing the accuracy of target detection.
