FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and, in particular, can be used for panoramic stereoscopic photo and video shooting, for obtaining stereo images of pipe cavities, wells, mines, shafts etc., by which coordinate measurements can be carried out by means of photogrammetry. Claimed method of panoramic stereoscopic shooting consists in shooting an object by two video cameras that are spaced apart in space onto a stereoscopic shooting base and located in the same housing with a common control unit, while the cameras are equipped with panoramic catadioptric and betraying lenses, creating on photo matrices of video cameras an image of space in the annular zone with full coverage of the horizon, the shooting base is created along the common optical axis of the video cameras, the first video camera is placed in the dark field of the second catadioptric lens of the second camera, while the cameras are arranged so that the first video camera is in the dark field of the second catadioptric lens, and the angular fields of the first and second catadioptric lenses overlap to form a shooting area.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining a panoramic stereoscopic image (panoramic stereo pair) in one frame.
