FIELD: photo and video shooting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of photo and video filming, namely to optical stereoscopic methods for determining location of an object in surrounding space, including determination of distances to objects of interest, and if necessary, coordinates. Invention can be used, for example, in automatic systems for locating objects during military operations, including reconnaissance and reconnaissance. Disclosed method of producing stereoscopic images with a synthesized stereo base value comprises receiving and forming a reference and compared stereo images not by two, and by one video system based on parallax value analysis between images of the same targets (objects) on matched stereopair images, by forming stereoshots not with two, but with one moving camera. At that, speed of movement and interval between frames in motion determine value of formed (synthesized) base of stereoshots by means of computer alignment of both images along horizontal line, with shift of second image of stereopair to the left or right so that the most distant object on the first and second images of the stereo pair is on the same vertical line, which allows decreasing parallax between parts of objects moving away from the camera and reducing parallax to zero at objects furthest from the camera to determine with high accuracy the distance (range) for multiple targets on the terrain with high territorial length in real time.
EFFECT: automatic high-accuracy determination of distance (range) simultaneously for a large number of targets on the ground (battlefield) in real time based on one obtained pair of stereoshots.
