SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the variants of the implementation of the vehicle occupant restraint system and the way of their operation. System includes a side airbag, attached to the side of the vehicle seat, a rear airbag, attached to the rear of the vehicle seat, and one infiltrator, connecting the side and rear airbags, so that to cushion the first occupant when they crush into the side airbag, and to cushion the second occupant when they crush into the rear airbag during the collision of the vehicle. In the second variant, in the safety system, in addition, a portion of the rear airbag is configured with the possibility of sliding to the side of the vehicle seat, so that the seat of the vehicle is moved between the vertical and inclined positions.
EFFECT: improved safety of rear seat passengers while reducing weight and vehicle costs.
