SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a crosshead mechanism of a machine. Crosshead mechanism of a machine comprises composite crosshead (30). Composite crosshead (30) comprises a crosshead body made of a first composite material, wherein the first composite material comprises a first reinforcing material distributed in a first matrix material, first reinforcing material comprising a ceramic material, and first matrix material comprising a second ceramic material. Composite crosshead (30) is configured to move in a reciprocating motion in a machine.
EFFECT: technical result provided by the invention lies in the possibility of operating the machine in which this crosshead mechanism is used, with greater throughput and with less friction, abrasion and / or wear.
