FIELD: dust collection equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to wet dust collection and can be used in chemical, textile, food, light and other industries for purification of gases. Proposed packed scrubber comprises case with branch pipes for dusty and cleaned gas, sprayer, support grids with packing arranged between said grids, and slime removal device. Head piece is made as hollow balls, on the lateral surface of which a helical groove is cut out. Head piece can be made of porous polymeric materials, glass, porous rubber, composite materials, wood, stainless steel, titanium alloys, precious metals. Irrigation device is made in the form of an injecting nozzle. Nozzle contains a hollow cylindrical body with an orifice plate, connected to the union nut. Fluid flow divider is attached to the nut. Liquid flow divider consists of coaxially arranged, perforated conical shells, the space between which is filled with a fine mesh. Apices of the conical surfaces of the shells are directed away from the orifice plate. In the lower part of the divider a cylindrical perforated segment is fastened that is fixed on perforated conical shells. In the cylindrical perforated segment there is a swirler made in the form of a spring.
