FIELD: medicine; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used during manufacturing of medicines, medical products, products for agriculture and horticulture, household and industrial goods. Surface-modified filler material, which contains the alkaline earth metal carbonate, has the volatilization start temperature of volatile compounds of ≥350°C and comprises at least one filler material, which contains the alkaline earth metal carbonate, and the resulting layer, which is located on at least the portion of the surface, at least one of the mentioned filler material. Resulting layer contains at least one polyhydrosiloxane and the products of its reactions.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the content of volatile compounds in the filler that are released at the temperatures from 25 to 380°C, increase the hydrophobicity of the filler containing calcium carbonate.
