FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a honeycomb of fiberglass and can be used in rocket, aircraft and ship building, construction, furniture and packaging industries for manufacturing three-layer structures of complex curvature. Method comprises applying adhesive strips to the fiberglass fabric in the longitudinal direction, cutting the fiberglass fabric into workpieces in a direction perpendicular to the adhesive strips, assembling the honeycomb package by laying the workpieces with displacement of each workpiece relative to the previous one by half the step of the adhesive stripes, gluing the workpieces of the honeycomb package according to a predetermined mode, thermostabilization of a freely suspended honeycomb package, forming a honeycomb block by stretching the honeycomb package, impregnation of the honeycomb block with a polymer binder followed by heat curing and cutting the honeycomb block into honeycomb panels of a given height, and then evenly removing the cell faces throughout their area and height, cells with a face length of 2.5–3.5 mm and faces adjacent to 0.1–0.25 of their length are removed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to manufacture a honeycomb for articles of complex curvature.
