FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Illustrated accommodative intraocular lens with variable curvature for implantation into the patient's eye comprises a lens body having a base lens that has a base optical power, and a haptic structure containing haptic elements extending from the base lens. Actuating mechanism is installed so that it interacts with the lens body and contains the haptic elements of the drive mechanism. At least one liquid optical element is inserted between the drive mechanism and the lens base lens of the lens and contains fluid material within it. During the accommodation of the patient's eyes, the haptical elements of the body of the lens and the drive mechanism interact and exerting pressure on the liquid optical element, causing the liquid optic element to deform to create an additional optical power of the lens to correct the patient's vision.
EFFECT: application of this invention will allow to expand the arsenal of technical means, namely intraocular lenses.
