FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building. Hot gas flow valve consists of a body, a seat, a flap, a shaft, bearings and sealing rings mounted on the shaft, and a shaft end seal. End seal is made in the form of an annular cavity in which three graphite rings are successively arranged facing each other with their end faces. On the shaft a ledge is made, with which one outermost ring contacts. At that, by their inner surface the outermost rings are brought into contact with the shaft outer surface and do not touch the housing, and the middle ring is brought into contact with the housing side surface and is mounted with formation of an annular gap with the shaft outer surface. On the shaft a limiting ring is installed, wherein the distance between the ledge and the limiting ring exceeds the graphite rings total thickness. In the longitudinal cross-section the middle ring is made T-shaped, which shelf maximum width does not exceed the graphite rings total thickness, between the shelf and the outermost rings outer diameter an annular gap is made.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at the design of the hot gas flow control valves.
