FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the production of synthesis gas by catalytic hydroconversion of carbon dioxide in the presence of hydrogen on a special catalyst that makes it possible to obtain synthesis gas in a composition suitable for the production of methanol. Process is carried out at a temperature of 300–350 °C and atmospheric pressure on a catalyst containing 1.0–3.0 wt% Cu at γ-Al2O3.
EFFECT: technical result is to simplify the process technology by using as raw material only carbon dioxide without additives of carbon monoxide and hydrogen, as well as to reduce the cost of manufacturing technology by using a cheaper catalyst.
