FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining N-acylprolines, which contain residues of fatty acids, is realised by interaction of methyl ethers of fatty acids of vegetable oils, selected from sunflower-seed, soybean, palm-kernel or coconut oil, and sodium prolinate, water solution of sodium prolinate is added to heated with mixing to 160°C methyl ethers of fatty acids of vegetable oil for 2.0-2.5 h, exposure of reaction mixture at 190°C for 2 hours and purification by conversion of N-acylproline sodium salts into respective insoluble acids, with molar ratio of reagents sodium prolinate: methyl ethers of fatty acids of vegetable oils constituting 1.1:1. In N-acylproline of formula R represents residues of fatty acids of vegetable oils.
EFFECT: high foaming ability, simplicity and economy of method, without application of catalyst and inert atmosphere.
